Channel 20 on Grizzly Mtn.

Channel 20 on Grizzly Mtn, which is the primary transmitter for KQRE-LP Telemundo, is currently off the air. The problem seems to be with the antenna or transmission line, both of which are covered in about 3 inches of ice. This transmitter is also used to broadcast our HD KFXO Fox Central Oregon service on Channel 20.2 to Madras, Prineville and surrounding areas. We hope to have a resolution to this issue by tomorrow. Updates on this issue will be posted on this site. You can also check our Twitter feed for updates @KTVZengineering.

Is there any NEW News on the Grizzly Status that hasn’t been posted since you last Blog dated 2/19/14? My service is received from the Grizzly mountain by antenna, my location is 3520 S Adams Drive in Madras, somewhat northwest of Grizzly, and all signals are down today; 21.1, 21.2, 21.3, and KFXO-HD 20.2 has been down for quite some time. No local news service from any of the Bend stations our way.
